Memorial Mound opened in 1992 and was built as an underground mausoleum where family members and friends could visit their loved ones indoors and “underground.” If you never heard about the Memorial Mound, you might not even believe what happened here. The back story is disturbing to say the least. Back in 2015 a group of explorers got into the abandoned mausoleum and found 7 deceased bodies in caskets.
